I read both this fic and the follow-up "Blue Movie" by your friend Ikonopeiston. So this must've been something like "Crimson Report 2 1/2" that Nhadala glimpsed just enough of that she knew better than to do anything other than hand it over to Gippal at once. But Gippal made the mistake of trying to hide the sphere when Rikku dropped in unannounced; naturally, she (talented thief that she is) managed to snatch it, not being able to rest until her curiosity had been satisfied. Much to both their surprise, the contents of the sphere consisted of Paine and Nooj, of all people, doing things that should never have been caught on video (Gippal's explanation being that Paine must've forgotten the sphere in her camera, and either she or Nooj knocked the camera over, activating it quite by accident). Turns out that Gippal had been debating whether to relinquish the incriminating sphere to Nooj and/or Paine, keep it, or destroy it when Rikku reared her bouncy blonde head. But LATER, in "Blue Movie," we learn that Gippal and Rikku have seen the whole sphere together and "had a good time" afterward - and Rikku found it to be such a turn-on that now she's the one who won't give the sphere up! So Gippal felt that he had no choice then but to confess the sphere's existence to Nooj, who (knowing something of Rikku's inability to keep her mouth shut) promptly relayed the embarrassing news to Paine. And they (Nooj and Paine) can't possibly pretend they're not the people on the forgotten Crimson Sphere, not with Nooj's machina limbs and Paine's distinctive pewter hair and red eyes, so it'll be a miracle if they manage to live that one down.

But what happened as an end to "Blue Movie" seemed like precisely that miracle: once she and Nooj get over their embarrassment over the whole ordeal, Paine even suggests that the two of them make a sequel and give it to Rikku (or Gippal, as Nooj suggests - whichever one celebrates a birthday first) as a gift!

Wow...to think of such a bold move, or even for Nooj and Paine *not* to be angry with Gippal and Rikku for seeing that sphere in the first place, really takes a combination of courage and a sense of humor that most people nowadays just don't have. (Me, I'd be trying to steal the sphere back from Rikku and destroy it were I in Paine's place.) But I guess that the worst that will happen to Rikku now is that one of the two (Paine or Nooj, whichever of them sees her first) will corner her and demand that she, at the very least, keep that sphere under lock and key.

A humorous pair of one-shots that go together very nicely.
