Summary: After the tragic death of their newborn child, Nooj and Paine must find a way to rebuild their lives together. A sequel to The Dynast by Ikonopeiston.

Notes: Co-written with Ikonopeiston. Set about 12 years post-canon; bears no relationship to the DSHnD AU. This story picks up just a few moments before the end of The Dynast.
